College Students Open Up About Their College Experience and It’s Eye-Opening

This one hit a little too close to home, and I’m sure many young girls (and older women) would be able to relate to this anonymous confession. These days, we spend a lot of time on different social media platforms where people present their lives in ways that are often misleading and can have us question our own lives.

Scrolling through Instagram and seeing post after post of social media influencers and models who polish their photos can be tough on our self-esteem. This girl felt this way when scrolling through her boyfriend’s Instagram account. It hurts to hear that she feels as if she can’t compete with these impossible standards; hopefully, her boyfriend makes her feel beautiful and loves her no matter what.
