Disney Employees Spill the Beans About Working at the Happiest Place on Earth

As we’ve mentioned before, Disney has a huge, hard-working cleaning crew that is constantly ensuring there’s no litter around the park. Disney also has a trick up their sleeves when it comes to preventing litter. Turns out, the trash cans are specially placed throughout the park based on a special psychology.

Trash cans are placed every 30 feet throughout the park, and Walt Disney is rumored to have come up with this placement himself. The story goes that Walt determined the trash can spacing by walking and eating a hot dog. He counted 30 steps by the time he was finished and had to throw away his wrapper, therefore determining the fate of all Disney trash cans.
