Whilst having a good work ethic is a very important and even necessary skill in life, there are some workplaces that just aren’t worth the headache of trying to prove yourself. We’re not saying that you shouldn’t try your hardest to prove yourself, but when a subpar place has ridiculous standards, you might want to rethink your loyalties.

And no offense to anyone that loves working at the Red Lobster, but this is exactly the kind of place we’re talking about. We can understand enforcing that your workers be on time, but firing someone because they were literally one minute late is not right. At least this employee freed one of the lobsters from a terrible fate…
