People’s Wild ER Stories That Give Us Newfound Appreciation for Doctors

Remember those scary Final Destination movies? Well, this story is giving that same energy and we hate it. This storyteller will never forget the night when an eight-year-old boy came into the ER with his family after suffering a serious freak accident at the laundromat. He opened the dryer and stuck his arm in to grab the dry clothes for his grandma. 

The thing was, the dryer mechanism was still spinning when he stuck his arm in. His arm got trapped in the dryer and, according to our storyteller, got ripped off. We know it’s absolutely horrific. This poor kid was just trying to help his grandmother do laundry and got a life-altering injury instead. We’re never sticking our arm into a moving dryer again.
