People’s Wild ER Stories That Give Us Newfound Appreciation for Doctors

Let this ER story be a lesson to us all. Everyone needs to pay attention when they’re using products in the bathroom. An ER nurse once had a patient who accidentally glued their eyes shut. We’re not even kidding. This poor soul put nail glue in their eyes, thinking it was eye drops. 

We have no idea how someone made such a horrible mistake. Sure, eye drop and nail glue containers look kind of similar, but you’d think the average person would read the label first. We can’t even imagine the panic that coursed through their veins once they blinked and realized their eyes were glued shut. We can’t help but shudder just thinking about it.
