Here In My Car
One European pointed out that the weirdest part of the United States is how car-centric everything is. Most of the US is not pedestrian-friendly unless you live in a city center. We need our cars to get to work, go shopping, travel, and basically do anything else. Don’t even try to take public transport, because it’s probably inefficient or nonexistent.

Most European cities are incredibly walkable. We have to admit; we’re more than a little jealous. Can you imagine how much gas you’d save every year if you were able to safely bike to work or walk to the grocery store without feeling like you were walking on the side of a freeway?
