Nowadays, it seems like you have to pick a “team” and stick with it at all costs.

Everyone feels like it’s “your team vs. my team,” which is detrimental to bringing about change and promoting tolerance. When it comes to differences in opinion, most people don’t even want to hear where the other side is coming from. Politics have become super polarizing and divisive, which is unfortunate.
