#15: A Stern Response
Howard Stern is a radio host who has built a reputation for being controversial, incendiary, and kind of a creep. His reputation came out to shine during a 2013 interview with former Spice Girl Mel B. During the course of the interview, Howard asked her a bunch of invasive questions about her ex Eddie Murphy and her troubled childhood.
Mel B took these questions in stride by cheerfully cussing him out. Inappropriate questions are his modus operandi, after all. Howard crossed the line when they started talking about Mel’s former Spice Girls crew. When she revealed that she had smooched her friends, Howard asked if she considered herself a role model for the queer community. Mel had had enough at that point and stormed off.
