It’s no secret how a woman’s body works, but for some reason, there is a considerable gap in the knowledge bank of the average man, even those that practice medicine. Each year, one Twitter user asks women to share some of the most ridiculous things they’ve heard from men about women’s bodies, and we are blessed with the results. Get ready to cringe and facepalm your way through times men should have tried to Google it first because they got it very wrong! I won’t lie, there’s a heavy dose of mansplaining below, but it sounds like most of them eventually learned a thing or two.
Odd Assumption, But Okay
Honestly, I’m trying to find some kind of logic here, but I’m at a total loss. Does he think we grow our own cotton tampons to carry with us? Has he never seen the feminine product aisle at a store? Oh, maybe he thinks we’re all witches and can just conjure up tampons when we need them!
I’m also confused about what he thought a tampon was, to begin with. It’s hard to assume that he understands periods only happen once a month, and we don’t need feminine products for the rest of the time. It’s not as if we only use tampons, either. Hopefully, she set him straight.
