As much as we would all like to get things for free in life, we know that there is a limit to that dream. Have you ever heard of the saying “beggars can’t be choosers?” if not, you are most certainly about to find out. It is essentially the idea that when someone in need is offered something specific and they choose to either turn it down or have the audacity to ask for something else. No matter the gesture, it appears that some people still have a huge sense of entitlement. Generally, when someone is offered a nice gift or gesture by a stranger, you would think that they would be happy to take it, especially if they are in need, but this thread is about to show you that not everyone thinks that way.
Cheaper Price, Cheaper Work
For some reason, people often don’t understand that an artist’s work costs the amount that it does because it takes a long time to perfect. Whether the artist has taken many years to perfect it or whether they have to stand there and make every piece look perfect over the course of a few hours, it is important that their hard work is acknowledged.
And when a customer asks for a piece of artwork cheaper than the original asking price, it is only fitting that they would get a piece of art that is appropriate to the amount of money offered. If you want cheaper work, then you are going to get cheaper work.
