Truths People Shared on Social Media, But Not with Their Parents

Most of the confessions we’ve seen so far have been pretty harmless and even funny, but this one takes a very dark turn. While it sounds like some of these stories might be made up (or exaggerated for dramatic effect), we find it hard to believe someone would lie about such a thing.

Perhaps the worst part about this is that the person who shared this story has no one to turn to. She can’t confide in her family and friends and according to her, she doesn’t even feel comfortable sharing this with her therapist. This is a huge load to carry all by yourself, and it’s sad that she felt as if the only place she could turn to is an anonymous Reddit thread.
