When you know that telling anyone about your problems won’t help you get better and might even have a backlash, sometimes it’s best to avoid those situations. Many parents want to help their kids get better and improve their lives. However, some parents just want you to get it together and not burden them with your issues.

Dealing with your mental state of mind can surely feel like a burden, even though everyone has work to do on their mental health. This person doesn’t want to tell their parents about their mental state because they might make them feel like a burden. Most people probably feel this way. Just make sure you have some sort of a support system to lean on during your mental transformation.
