If you’ve ever owned a pet, you know that they quickly become an integral part of the family and that often they are a lot like children. You can’t stay mad at them for too long because they’re too cute, but when they misbehave, you need to punish them somehow – otherwise, how will they learn? You can’t shame your family members online, but it turns out pet shaming is a trend these days, and we can’t think of more appropriate punishment.
Seems about right
As all pet owners out there already know, the number one rule when it comes to dogs is to never leave them unattended around food. You leave any food on the counter unattended for five minutes and it will be gone by the time you return to the kitchen. It doesn’t even matter what food – any food is dangerous to leave around dogs. It’s like leaving the cat to guard the cream.
This dachshund is no different, and she simply did what any sensible dog would do. The minute she got the chance, she jumped on the counter and ate the entire family-sized pizza. We couldn’t stay mad at her, though – one look at those big, round eyes is all it takes to forgive her. That’s the problem with dogs, they’re too sweet, you can’t stay mad at them.
